Acer had launched its new extravagant Predator Orion 9000 gaming desktop this year. This made the company a great competitors for those manufacturers whose aim is grow on the field of gaming. It looks like a model of a normal PC which is 64.3cm tall, 29.9cm wide and 70cm deep. The exterior cover of it is of plastic that have moulds on the front, back, top and bottom. The body of the PC is bulged at the bottom. The weight of the device is extremely heavy.
Acer Predator Orion 9000 consists of the USB and audio ports are on the top. A area of the DVD-RW drive is provided with a flip plastic cover which normally keeps it hidden. The RGB LEDs can be controlled on the front panel, the upper lip of the left side panel, and the motherboard. The 240mm radiator for the all-in-one liquid CPU cooler is provided at the top which allows the hot air to be pushed out upward. A 3.5-inch hard drive is constructed at the back of the motherboard tray. It is also provided with four tool-free clamps for 2.5-inch drives. At the up moulds, a Wi-Fi antennas is been fixed.
Acer Predator Orion 9000 is provided with five 120mm fans: two at the front, one exhaust fan at the rear, and the two radiator fans on the top to suck out hot air. It provides you an Intel Core i9 CPU, four graphics cards in SLI, 128GB of RAM, a 12TB hard drive, 1TB SSD, and 32GB of Intel Optane Memory (optional). The power supply provided is a 1000W unit made by FSP. The cost of the configuration is Rs. 3,19,999.
Atthe top panel Acer Predator Orion 9000, there are three USB 3.1 Type-A ports and one Type-C port which is also a USB 3.1 Gen 1 but not the faster Gen 2. There are two USB 2.0 ports, five more USB 3.1 Type-A ports and one more Type-C port along with a Gigabit Ethernet, analogue and S/PDIF audio connectors, and a PS/2 port at the rear. The graphics card is provided with three Display Ports and one HDMI output. It also provides a Wi-Fi 802.11ac as a removable mini PCIe card, one free M.2 slot with a heatsink, a DVD-RW drive and an integrated Creative SoundBlaster X720 sound.
Acer Predator Orion 9000 also provides us Windows 10 Home and various preloaded software that includes Intel’s Optane and Turbo Boost Max utilities, Cyberlink PowerDVD, Power Director and Photo Director, Acer Care Center, Sound Blaster Connect 2 and the Predator Mechanical Keyboard utility. The Core i9-7900X the Acer Predator runs at 3.3GHz and can turbo up to 4.5GHz on one core or 4GHz on all cores for a short period. The mouse of the Predator is designed for a two-finger grip and the keyboard is perfectly flat.
